What Do I Do if I have an Emergency Before My Shift?

Modified on Fri, 16 Aug at 12:01 PM

Withdraw as soon as you know you won’t be able to attend your shift.

Doing so increases the chances that a business can find a new worker. You may receive a seven (7) day ban, if you have late withdrawn two (2) times within a six (6) month period. However, failing to withdraw will give you a NO SHOW and that will automatically ban you for 30 days. Withdrawing is always the better option for everyone involved.
